For the third year running, Kempten students used Tenerife as a living lab, this time focused on the circular economy: net-zero footprints, extended product life cycles, product-as-service models and sharing platforms. Guided by Prof. Dr. Andreas Müller and Prof. Dr. Katrin Stefan, with Prof. DI Günter Koch (Humboldt Cosmos Multiversity) and Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Trujillo (ULL), teams visited Coplaca/FAST, the port of Santa Cruz, ITER and the PIRS ecological complex. Five concepts emerged: GetOn (mobility), Combat Ocean, Greenerife (packaging from banana leaves), SeaOn (island energy storage) and next taste (insect protein) — each worked out with a business model canvas, SWOT and Porter’s Five Forces.
